This afternoon I sat down with my 12 and 14-year-old and we all took turns reading the Medal of Honor Citation for Marine Corporal Jason Dunham out loud. I want them to know what Memorial Day is, why we celebrate it, and learn the story of a true hero who sacrificed all for his fellow comrades while serving his country. His selfless act of bravery is the true embodiment of a hero. If you have a few minutes I invite you to read about Cpl Dunham. Thank you to all who have served our country.
Afterwards I headed back to my craft supply area and with the help of my 7-year-old was able to weed a few more things out. Well, maybe more than a few, I found 27 items.
- 2 shirts
- 1 cookbook
- 1 bag of scrapbook embellishments
- 1 molding mat
- 2 metal containers that hold little tins
- 4 packages photo corners
- 1 cutter system
- 1 package of pop adhesives
- 4 sets of alphabet stamps
- 10 stamps and mounting blocks
The Clutter Busting Challenge ends Friday. Have you noticed a difference in your house yet?
